A drug awareness campaign was successfully organized by Sacred Heart Convent, Sr. Sec. School,khanna . The rally began from the school premises and moved through Ratanheri Road and Narotam Nagar, proceeding along GT Road and reaching the court complex. Students enthusiastically raised slogans and presented powerful nukkad nataks and speeches to educate spectators about the harmful effects of drug use. The event was presided over by SDM Dr. Ravneet kaur and S.Amritpal Singh Bhaati Deputy Superintendent of Police.,Khanna.


The dignitaries appreciated the students for their active participation and praised them for playing a vital role in spreading social awareness about the dangers and consequences of drug abuse.

We are delighted to share that a special celebration was held in honour of our Honourable Director on the blessed occasion of his Ordination Day. Held in the Senior Building, the event radiated joy and reverence as students and teachers gathered to offer their prayerful wishes. Uplifting songs and a heartfelt verbal bouquet of greetings filled the air with warmth, gratitude, and festive spirit, creating a memorable and joyous atmosphere.

Adding further charm to the celebration, the Sacred Heart Juniors offered their tributes through soulful songs and a beautifully choreographed performance. Their vibrant expressions of love and respect added colour and warmth to the occasion, making the day even more special and unforgettable.

The entire Sacred Heart family united in spirit and prayer, thanking God for the precious gift of our Director’s noble vocation and unwavering commitment to the school community. It was truly a day of immense grace, heartfelt emotions, and joyous celebration.

Honouring a Legacy of Grace

Today, at Sacred Heart Convent Senior Secondary School, Khanna, we came together as one family to offer our final tribute to His Holiness Pope Francis, Supreme Pontiff of the Universal Church a true shepherd of compassion and peace. The ceremony commenced with a solemn two-minute silence, reflecting our deep respect for a life devoted to humility, service, and unwavering faith.

Pope Francis, born Jorge Mario Bergoglio, served as  Pope of the Roman Catholic Church. He was known for his simplicity, deep spirituality, and tireless efforts for social justice, interfaith harmony, and the upliftment of the poor.

Our Honourable Director  Rev. Fr. AmalThakkiddipuram led the gathering with a heartfelt tribute, followed by all the class in-charges who stood in unity, symbolizing the collective gratitude of the school community. Student representatives from each class stepped forward to offer floral tributes, a gesture of love and reverence to a leader who inspired countless hearts across the world.

His Holiness Pope Francis was a beacon of hope who transcended barriers of race, status, and greed. Through his missionary and charitable works, he reminded us of the power of kindness, inclusion, and service. As we bid him farewell, we carry forward his legacy—one rooted in peace, humility, and the unshakable spirit of unity.

It is a proud privilege to share that during the Investiture Ceremony, the young authors of our school were honoured for their literary accomplishments. These talented students walked onto the stage with great enthusiasm and confidence, receiving copies of the books they themselves had authored.

Each student was presented with their own published work, bearing their name proudly on a vibrant, custom-designed cover—an inspiring moment that celebrated creativity, expression, and the power of young minds.

We applaud these budding writers for turning their thoughts into words and their dreams into pages, and we look forward to many more such milestones in their literary journey.

This is to inform you that our school gracefully conducted its Investiture Ceremony—a dignified event marking the formal conferral of duties and responsibilities to the newly elected leaders of our four houses: St. Dominic House, St. Francis House, St. Benedict House, and St. Antony House.

As a symbol of honour and trust, the School Flag and the School War Flag were solemnly handed over to our Honourable Director, Rev. Fr. Amal Thakaddipuram. Each house marched with pride, offering a salute while carrying their respective flags—signifying unity, discipline, and commitment.

The ceremony culminated with the Oath-Taking, as our young leaders pledged to uphold the values and spirit of the institution with integrity and dedication.

Transforming Lives Through learning 


The opening ceremony of Sacred Heart Convent Senior Secondary School on April 2nd was marked by enthusiasm and spiritual grace. Honorable Director Rev. Fr. Amal ThakaddiPuram, along with Principal Rev. Sr. Lincy Xavier, Vice Principal Sr. Rosily, and Sr. Aleena, led the event.

The ceremony began with prayers, a devotional song, and scripture reading. The Honorable Director blessed the files handed to class in-charges, while class representatives placed lit candles near the prayer room.

The theme for the year2025-26 'Transforming Lives Through learning 'was announced, inspiring students to embrace learning with purpose.
